People say happiness comes with a price, well guess the price i had to pay. My weight! i have gained like 7 Kgs after i got married almost an year ago. Luckily my husband is a very health concious man. We limit our intake of junk food. I donot store candy, chocolates or fizzy drinks in the refregirator. My only enemy is the lack of excercise, which iam guilty of.
When i look at pictures of me several years back i looked soo skinny. And i dont want to be that skinny i was unhappy and unhealthy back then.
I only started to excercise in June 2009 on my semester break. Yet again i stopped going there when the following semester began. From time to time i went to the running track but wasnt really a regular there.
On June 26, 2011 i started to go to group excercise class. Its a barbell excercise class to streanthen and tone muscles. So i go there 3 days per week soon after i finish my work. I come home usually around 530, get ready and rush there within 30 minutes. I really do enjoy the classes there and glad to a good instructer who keeps pushing us.
Already I am starting to feel good about my self and i know it will take few months to achieve my target. This is my final semester of my advance diploma will begin. And yet again ill be in a much tighter schedule since ill get 45 minutes to come home from gym and get ready to attend the lectures.

Conversation starters
I don’t know if its me, but Im really getting sick of how people greet each other when they see a friend after a long time. You either end up getting on their nerves, not minding your own business or sometimes going too far. Just my opinion you don’t have to agree.
Here are typical conversation starters a typical Maldivian use which I really find annoying
To a single person- when are you getting married (as if it is a burden for u because that person is single)
To a married person- when are you having a kid (strictly too private to ask)
To a person having a kid- When are you having your second (are you willing to pay for their college fees?)
Where are you working and how much is your salary?
People should really find good conversation starters. There should be a better ways than this. Where are the usual greetings such as “hi how are you” “hows your family?” other than asking you the most private question you don’t want to discuss with a random person.
I don’t know if it’s a part of our culture or simply people are always looking for some juicy gossip because people should really should find new ways to greet people
